About XsynC:
XsynC consist of a group of friends who have a passion of music and decided to get together to form a website covering the musical aspect of the Anime industry. It officially launched on 9th March 2007. The owners of the site Xak decided to set up the site after realising that there’s isn’t many websites that actually put emphasize on the musical aspect of Animes and asked Crest to work with him. bj0rN was called up to help to do the layout of the site and the website maintainences at the same time to join the team to write some random articles.
The website will write articles regarding the music industry, mainly focusing on the anime’s point of view such as the OP, ED and soundtracks. Artist and song reviews are also done if it’s related.
The Individuals:
Xak: Recent Graduate of NS and a true ROD person. Loves to do combo flash at Crest of pink and green with paper strip pasted on it. Loves music, prefers bass, hasn’t touched non-anime music since introduction to anime. Loves Kajiura Yuki’s music because of favourite anime Mai HiME, but too lazy to actually find out more. Likes songs by Kotoko, Makino Yui, Younha, YUI. Currently trends towards more techno-ish music with plenty of bass rhythm as well as soft emotion-packed music. Given up on gaming for now except for doujin games like Melty Blood, Eternal Fighter Zero and Touhou series.
Crest: Writer who’s paid in peanuts by Xak and bandages by bj0rn. Still serving in the army and waiting to enter University after that. Is a genius not in the making. Listens to too many genres to be listed. Prefers stuff that has strong folk influence and operatic presence in it in terms of vocals. Favourite composers are Yuki Kajiura, Yoko Kanno , Toshiyuki Omori , Kunihiko Ryo and many more in anime. Plays lots of RPGs and love their music too! However that’s for another time.
bj0rN: Website manager of the group. Does the themes and fixes the bugs in the site. Currently in year 3 of Poly. Like Crest, he’s no longer gaming competitively. A creative person who indulges himself with arts, music and novelty. Currently working on a novel, graphic designs, cosplay and also starting his own fashion line. Known as the bondage guy in the group due to his love for it and earned him the title bj0rN-dA-gE. Very active person and is out-going.
